Frequently Asked Questions

What are the benefits of buying an aged shelf company?

Credibility and speed. Purchasing an aged shelf company can provide instant credibility due to its established history. This can be beneficial for winning client trust and potentially easier access to credit and business opportunities. It also allows for quicker business setups compared to starting a new entity from scratch.

While buying an aged shelf corporation is legal, there are risks such as undisclosed liabilities or past legal issues. It’s crucial to conduct thorough due diligence to uncover any potential issues before purchasing. We guarantee that our aged shelf corporations have no previous liabilities or debts. Beware of companies claiming to offer aged corporations with existing credit lines, noting that such claims could be fraudulent.

The cost of an aged shelf corporation varies widely based on its age, history, and perceived value. Prices can range from a few hundred dollars to thousands of dollars, depending on these factors.

The process involves purchasing the corporation directly from Corporations Today, which includes updating the corporation’s records with the new ownership details and filing the appropriate documents with the state.

Yes, modifications such as changing the business name, adjusting the business scope, or altering corporate structure can generally be made after the purchase. These changes will need to be officially filed with the relevant state authorities.

An aged company may have a better chance of securing credit lines due to its longevity and established history. However, actual credit approval will depend on current financials, business plans, and lender criteria. Our aged companies do not come with credit lines, and purchasing one does not inherently increase chances of getting credit.

Our shelf companies do not come with EIN numbers to ensure they have no financial history or associated liabilities. Occasionally, we do offer existing companies for sale on behalf of others that may have an EIN and financial history, but these sales are not guaranteed by us and are transacted directly between the buyer and the seller.

We guarantee that our aged shelf companies come with no previous activity, debts, or liabilities, providing a clean slate for your business operations.
